inner clown
In the artistic practice of Clown,
we are given a space to be the full spectrum of who we are.
All our eccentricities are welcome and wanted.
Liberated from expectations,
We can be ourselves.

The workshop
Clown workshops at CATT are offered in a series.
It takes time to get comfortable in the "play" space, and inner clown exploration doesn't happen overnight.
This workshop series will be a liberating, playful, authentic, and experiential journey into various aspects of you.
It takes place over 6 consecutive half-days on weekends.
All you need to bring is yourself.
MORE INFORMATION TBA

story of my life
Story of My Life is an ongoing series.
Workshops are drop in style so you can come whenever you want.
There is no commitment to attend regularly, and there will be a different theme or artistic medium used every week. These are low pressure workshops, where no emphasis is placed on the final product. It's about the process.
We do ask that you have attended an intro session before signing up for this workshop.
Each 2 hour session we will use creative process to explore and uncover themes in your life narrative.
A few examples of the work we might do in this workshop are:
1. A Biography of Color
Working in the abstract, you will create the story of your life from beginning until now, using color (paint, pastel, ink) to express your experiences. You will be invited to share your color story with others in the class, however there is no pressure to do so.
2. Unexpected Turn
In this workshop you will consider a moment in your life when things changed. You will be directed through a process using clay and journal to delve into the significance of this change in your life.
3. Figure/Mask/Doll
We all have parts of ourselves that we keep hidden or feel like we have lost, or left behind.
Using a variety of materials, you will create a figure that pays homage to a part of you that has been cast away.
